In 1958, the late Mr. Bruno Landesberg established the Southern Marketing Company Ltd. as a distribution company for household cleaning products in southern Israel. In 1965, he took another great step forward and founded Sano-Bruno’s Enterprises Ltd. (“Sano Enterprises”) with the goal to manufactures and markets household cleaning product solutions. Today the Sano Group is managed by Mr. Alex Landesberg (Deputy chairmen of the board of directors) and Mr. Yuval Landesberg (Chief Executive Offices).

Over the years Sano Enterprises has steadily expanded, establishing new production plants for the manufacturing of aerosols, paper goods, hygiene products and a wide range of cleaning agents and products.

In 1982 Sano first went public and its shares have been traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange ever since.
Today, Sano employs nearly 1825 employees and its products are found in every Israeli home.

Sano has been operating globally for over 20 years, distributing its products in more than 30 countries worldwide. Sano has 3 subsidiaries in Eastern Europe.
As a manufacturer with internal R&D labs, we develop and manufacture unique and innovative products in almost every category in the home care and personal care categories, including: home cleaning, laundry & Fabric care, home maintenance, body care, hair care, cosmetics, sunscreen, oral hygiene products, insecticides, disinfectant materials, and more. Each year, Sano launches dozens of new products in different categories, many of which become highly successful in Israel and around the world.
